The Second International Sochi Eurasian Integration Forum will be held on April 17-18« Back
On April 17-18, 2018, the Second International Eurasian Integration Sochi Forum will take place in Sochi (Radisson Lazurnaya Hotel, Kurortny Pr., 103).
The needs of progress and sustainable development, on the one hand, large and small crises of the modern world, on the other hand, put forward the need to seek and support a variety of models of international cooperation and cooperation. Serious hopes of civil society in Russia and a number of other states of Eurasia are vested in the dynamically developing and expanding Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The interest of the scientific, public and business communities of Russia in discussing the prospects of the SCO prompted the Institute of CIS countries, with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund and Gazprom, to jointly take the initiative to hold the Second Sochi Eurasian Integration Forum.
About 200 people, including foreign experts, politicians and public figures from 17 SCO member states, observer countries and SCO dialogue partners, as well as countries involved in integration projects in the "Great Eurasia" space (Abkhazia, Azerbaijan Armenia, Afghanistan, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia) and Russian participants from Moscow, Sochi and the Krasnodar region.
The Executive Secretary of the Forum is the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for CIS affairs, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots, the head of the Institute of CIS countries Konstantin Zatulin.

Within the framework of the Forum there will be three sections for discussions:
"Great Eurasia. The World Order, Security and the Fight against Terrorism";
"The SCO and the economic and integration processes in Eurasia. Economics, energy, transport and migration";
"Interaction of cultures and religions. Ecology and preservation of the environment. Education and Science".
