The ceremony of transferring China's humanitarian aid to the SCO member States in the fight against coronavirus infection was held at the SCO Secretariat.
The event was attended by SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov, President of the China Foundation for economic reform research kun Jinyuan, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shenzhen DEXIA Biomedical Engineering Dan Kagan.
Norov expressed gratitude to the management of the Fund and the company for the assistance provided to the SCO member States in the fight against COVID-19. According to him, joint efforts will help stop the spread of the disease in the Organization's space.
At the same time, China's experience deserves deep study and application, since the effective measures taken by the Chinese government to combat coronavirus have led to concrete positive results.
Beijing continues to provide assistance to many countries and share its experience, demonstrating its readiness to jointly address the current global epidemiological threat.
Kun Jinyuan thanked Norov for his support and solidarity with the people of China at a difficult time. He spoke about the Fund's readiness to contribute to the struggle of the peoples of the SCO member States with COVID-19, as well as its interest in strengthening cooperation with the SCO Secretariat and relevant institutions of the Organization's member States.
