Official delegation of India will visit Primorye to participate in the WEF« Back
A representative delegation of the Republic of India will participate in the third Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in the Primorsky Territory on September 6-7. This is reported by "Vesti: Primorye" with reference to the press service of the administration of the region.
As the official forum operator informs, the delegation will be headed by the Minister of Industry and Commerce Nirmala Sitharaman. Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Energy, Coal Industry, Renewable Energy and Mining, Minister of Energy, Coal Industry, Renewable Energy and Mining Sector Piyush Goyal, Chief Secretary of the Prime Minister Nripendra Misra, Deputy Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar, Deputy Minister of Defense Sanjay Mitra, as well as more than 30 executives of Indian companies.
Within the framework of the Russia-India business dialogue, which is included in the business program of the Eastern Economic Forum, the delegation plans to discuss investment opportunities in such areas as shipbuilding and repair, fishing, wood processing, exploration and mineral processing, oil and gas, diamond cutting, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, tourism and traditional Indian medicine. Dialogue will promote the expansion of ties between India and the Far East of Russia, the portal "Vesti" informs.
