Kazakhstan intends to develop allied relations with Russia« Back
According to the concept of the republic’s foreign policy for 2020-2030, approved by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokaev, the country plans to develop allied relations with Russia and strategic partnership with China, TASS reports.
In addition, the priorities in the field of regional and multilateral diplomacy are partnership with the United States, strategic relations with Central Asian states; expanded partnership and cooperation with the European Union and EU member states.
The document envisages continued close cooperation with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the areas established by the Treaty on the EAEU.
It is planned to develop bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the CIS member states in order to strengthen multilateral dialogue in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian fields, as well as in the field of security and countering new challenges and threats.
Kazakhstan aims to strengthen cooperation with international and regional economic and financial organizations.
