On June 10-11, the 3rd International Conference on Information Security was held in Khanty-Mansiysk with the participation of the SCO, BRICS and CSTO “Infoforum-Ugra” countries

The conference is held in the framework of the XI-th International IT-Forum in Khanty-Mansiysk. In 2019, the IT Forum program will focus on the digital transformation of the world economy and the need to develop standards for responsible behavior of states in the use of information and communication technologies.

The problems of international information security, as well as the task of ensuring the security of the information infrastructure, which forms the basis of the functioning of the economies and state management of each of the modern countries, cannot but worry professionals of the professional IT community. In this regard, the International Information Security Conference "Infoforum-Ugra" is considered as one of the key elements of the program of the International IT-Forum in Ugra.

The conference included a plenary session, round tables and panel discussions on topical issues of information security, a meeting of the International Ugra Club of Information Security Experts will be held. The main issues include the priorities of international and interregional cooperation in the field of information security; prospects for the development and application of digital technologies, ensuring the security of smart cities and digital regions; international experience in securing critical infrastructure; financial security; counteraction against international terrorism and extremism in the information sphere; tasks of personnel reserve formation for the needs of the digital economy; implementation of industry projects using Russian breakthrough technologies.

During the events in Ugra, an award for contribution to the development of professional ties in the field of international information security “International Cybersecurity Leader” will also be held.

Infoforum is one of the most authoritative events in Russia in the field of information security, within which for nearly 2 decades information security issues have been systematically discussed. During this time, the forum has become a well-known discussion platform for Russian and foreign experts. More than 100 large Russian and international forums held under the Infoforum trademark confirm this fact.

In Ugra, the Infoforum annually gathers a pool of experts, and the following conference will be attended by: Andrei Krutskikh, special presidential representative for international cooperation in the field of information security; Phan Binxin, chairman of the China Cloud Security Association (creator of the Chinese “golden shield”); General Azumi Bin Mohamed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Malaysian Cyber Security Agency, and many other well-known experts from Russia, Armenia, Brazil, Vietnam, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, South Africa and many other countries.
