According to the MIR 24 television channel, the leaders of the EAEU countries have щт on April,14 2020 discussed various issues related to the coronavirus pandemic in a video conference mode.

The initiative to create green corridors for the delivery of humanitarian goods and food between the EAEU countries was put forward by Kyrgyz leader Sooronbai Jeenbekov.

He also touched on the topic of migrants, noting that many of them were in a difficult situation due to the pandemic. Jeenbekov pointed out the importance of adopting a set of measures for social and medical support of all citizens of the EAEU. In addition, he spoke about the importance of taking comprehensive measures for budgetary and tax support to stimulate business.

"The Eurasian Development Bank and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development should give special importance to the economies of our countries. It's time to review some of the principles of the Fund," said Jeenbekov, proposing to reduce the time for considering loans for budget support in crisis situations and increase the share of grant financing

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that given the uncertainty in the global financial system, Yerevan considers it necessary to create measures to increase the share of payments in national currencies within the EAEU.

He expressed concern that some countries see a way out of the crisis in restrictive measures in international trade, although it is only possible to get out of economic problems together. Uninterrupted cargo transportation with the EAEU countries is extremely important for Armenia, Pashinyan concluded.

The initiator of the discussion of important issues in the form of a videoconference was the president of Belarus, who chairs the EAEU this year. Alexander Lukashenko explained that the countries of the Eurasian five need to unite in a pandemic, so that later they do not waste time restoring economic ties.

In this situation, natural gas prices should be rising for consumers. It is also necessary to maintain transit and transport links between countries.

In his opinion, it is necessary to act together, to create their own regional "security belt" to create import-substituting industries and localize critical industries on the territory of the EAEU.
