The fifth youth online conference "SCO Model" on the topic: "Intercultural entrepreneurship as a means of economic development in the post-COVID-19 SCO region" was held on August 15 with the participation of young experts from various business fields from the SCO member States and observer countries.

The SCOLAR Network youth platform, supported by the SCO Secretariat, organized the event, which was attended by 200 viewers on the Zoom platform. The live broadcast on Facebook received more than 800 views.

Participants made presentations on ways to overcome the consequences of the pandemic and develop entrepreneurship, and discussed The organization's agenda taking into account the current situation in the world. The interlocutors also touched upon the development of e-Commerce, digital economy and online education in the SCO countries, as well as the transfer of business and entrepreneurship to a digital format.

In the final part, the SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov addressed the participants of the conference, thanking them for their active and creative work.

In his opinion, the topic of the current conference is very relevant and timely, since the coronavirus pandemic has affected all spheres of human life.

Norov noted the good preparation of the delegations, the high quality and level of the exchange of views, as well as the discussion of the final document. He stressed that the ideas and thoughts expressed could be useful in studying aspects of overcoming the economic problems of the SCO region in the post-pandemic period.
